And so it is official.

I am a gym member. That is the last time I would normally be but yes I decided I have to enforce myself to keeping fit. So I took the plunge. Now that I am paying to use their facility, I would have to go there religiously so as to make my money's worth. That's the strategy haha!

The perk, I have another activity in common with my fiancee. Keeping fit together sounds like a good plan for 2013. I have 2 other friends who are gym members as well so life wouldn't be too bored going for body combat classes together.

Here's to a healthy 2013 and beyond! (Since my membership only expires 2016. heh.)

One word for 2013.

Its almost the time of the year again to take stock of 2012 and moving on to 2013. 2012 didn't start very well for me. I remember those trips to the hospital, I still tremble in fear. But God is gracious, He has been my source of strength & sustainance. Walked out of that anxious episode safe & sound.

I really want to embrace 2013 with new vigour and new zest. I want to believe and claim that the new year will be a good year for me, my dear, my family & my friends. I thank God for His presence and I choose the word "strong" to be my little word for 2013. I believe that God has already given me extrordinary strength to face whatever challenges that may come.

2013, see you in a few days. (:

Work in progress | new mini album project

Been busy getting a mini album together and I am so excited to wrap this little project up! I will share a little more when it has been gifted to the receiver. (: | Picture below shows the start, I will photobomb the entry to come with its completion.

This is my first attempt and it will not be the last. Seemingly tedious at first, but the fun never ceases, so does the satisfying feeling when it has been finished. (:

Two layouts to share!

Boy oh boy, two layouts to share! Its been so long since I sat down to scrap a 12x12 and I am so happy to be able to create again! I can see the drought dying down and me being motivated again to craft with my papers & tools. How I miss these!

So here I am, finally to share what I made last 2 weeks and I do hope these simple, clean layouts would inspire you somewhat. (:

It is truly a joy to scrap for myself, to play with whatever papers I fancy this season and allow my personal style to unfold. I think I would have to say that I am close to discovering that personal style.

And finally.

Just returned from a short trip to Malacca! So much feasting, walking, sightseeing, shopping that coming back home felt unreal haha!

I will be blogging about my trip here as soon as I can get my photos sorted out and of course, after a long and dry crafting season, I finally used my favourite papers (Crate Paper) to create a 12x12 layout! Real pleased to be crafting again, albeit a little slow but I am enjoying this process of crafting for myself, without a deadline.
