Back for good.

It seems like ages that I managed to find time to update here.

A lot happened. The good, the not so good. The good; I got married! Still getting around to the fact that I am married hah! Well the not so good would have to be the whole process of finding a job again, going for interviews and not entirely sure where my life's headed.

So I am still getting around to figuring out blog content. As for my goals from my last post, I am pretty far from where I would like to be but one positive note, I found a community of christian scrapbookers who have creatively applied their artsy side to bible study! For scrappers, you would know Shanna Noel! She has kicked started journalling in the bible with scrapbooking! How cool's that!? I think that might be an answer to the bible reading rut that I am in right now. Will share more along thw way if it works for me.

So much more to post but I will do up my updates proper along the way so stick around! I won't be away for long this time!

Note to self.

I need to stop procrastinating and do the following:

1. Work out a blogging plan for real.

2. Cont learning the guitar! I've been dragging this for the longest time. God, send me friends who plays to motivate me! Haha!

3. Attempt to pick up cajon as well after I am done with the guitar. Ambitious yes but life's short so yup.

4. Go volunteer at the animal shelter. Walk the dog, clean the kennels!

5. Modern calligraphy! Typography! Illustration! Watercolours! Need to do this and stop hoarding tools and paints but not using!

6. Lastly and most importantly, I really need to work out a fitting bible reading plan!

I will come back to this post and remind myself over and over!

Word #4

Love this.

“A busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is so much more attractive than a woman who waits around for a man to validate her existence.”

Word #3

“Someday you’ll find the right person, and you’ll learn to have a lot more confidence in yourself. That’s what I think. So don’t settle for anything less. In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. It’s important to combine the two in just the right amount.”

- Haruki Murakam

I've found my "somebody". (:

turning 27.

This season marks many changes- the upcoming wedding and the leaving behind of a job of 7 years. Feeling uncertain is an understatement. The wed prep, finances (even though there are savings), the fear of losing friends when we don't work together anymore, overwhelms me.

I turn my face and I look upon the good things in this season- a stronger desire to seek God, a greater awareness of who I am, what I like, and what I should rid of. There is so much clarity which surprises me to no end.

I thank God again and again that in Him, fear is insignificant. He is bigger than all that and I am forever safe from the darkness of this world and its people.

And thus, I begin anew as a 27 year old.

To Him be the glory!

Word #2

"The only time you look in your neighbor's bowl is to make sure that they have enough. You don't look in your neighbor's bowl to see if you have as much as them."

Word #1

She must find a boat and sail in it. No guarantee of shore. Only a conviction that what she wanted could exist, if she dared to find it.
