Happy Valentine's Day!

hehe i think my post's kind of late but still wishing everyone a day of love! valentine's i believe is definitely not reserved for couples/spouses etc but for everyone! okay so before v'day work has been busy and i was really rushing for time to create that vday d-i-y for my sunshine. first i toggled with the idea of altering that notice board but he kind of hinted that his room didnt have that much space for big items at least for now. so scrap that idea, next i was thinking of a set of coupons which includes a spa redeemption but my dear went ahead to surprise me with a couple facial treat (which we will go for, post-vday because he had his wisdom tooth out and was on mc). then i thought, how about a card? hmm until i read pooi's post on her mini idea which gave me a brainwave.

so i expanded the mini by another few inches to create my own version of a pullout mini book entitled "10 Things". In the mini i told dear the 10 things i love about him. of course the list would be endless and too much for a mini to contain, so 10 would be just nice (: i've got a few more ideas i would like to work on to- from LO ideas to altered arts. so yes, i will be busy scrapping whilst being studious. practice makes perfect, there's so much more for me to try, experiment, learn & create. bear with my photo snapping skill too ): i'm trying to get my hands to take clearer shots! (:

thankful to all who has been leaving me comments and words of encouragement. it really really means alot to me to know that you would even take time to visit the blog of a novice. hugs! so end of a wordy post & here comes the peektures! ;p

  2. hi girl! you know the normal 12x12 patterned paper fr the scrapbk store? i start by cutting a strip 12inch by 3.5 inch then slowly fold like the last photo 3inch each. i extended this one cos its abit short if i only use on strip. u start d...eco-ing by sticking stuff on every sq. when u stick things, the whole thing gets thicker and firmer naturally (: so when you close the folds tog, u stick ribbons on each side to tie up to like close up the whole thing. so if you wanna open this "pullout mini" you just untie the ribbons on each side. abit hard to describe in words, hope you understood what i just wrote ;p hehe. thanks! and am glad to know you! ;p
